Today I’m happy to welcome Ginny Dent Brant to the blog as she shares some helpful tips for boosting your immune system.
Our immune system is our first defense against any disease. Created by the Master Creator, it is amazing, miraculous and bent on self-healing. There are lifestyle habits that suppress its ability to heal and regenerate and habits that enhance its healing powers.
Here are four lifestyle changes that allow our immune system to work as God intended:
Give your body an immune boost by beginning your day with two glasses of water and consuming half your body weight in fluid ounces daily. Why? Our immune function and every cell and system in our bodies require adequate water to function properly. This life giving elixir is free, so drink up.
Our bodies work best when we move during the day. Movement increases the production of our immune cells and enhances every system in our body. Exercise also helps our lymphatic system take out the trash from our body, decreases stress, and reduces our risk for cancer.
Allow your body to heal and repair with restorative sleep.
While you are reading this article, your body is performing miracles to prevent disease. When you are in deep sleep, the miracles of healing increase exponentially. Our bodies heal, repair and detox when we sleep. Melatonin, a hormone created in deep sleep, is a major cancer fighter and immune builder. Your healing can be as close as your pillow—and it’s free.
Use nutrient-dense food to boost your immune system.
We are what we eat. Our bodies can be strengthened through eating a nutrient-rich, more plant-based diet. All fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants and phytochemicals that boost our immune system and prevent cancer. The more plants you eat, the better.
With cancer rates and chronic diseases continuing to rise and this pandemic still looming, it’s our responsibility to implement lifestyle changes that will unleash our God-given healing.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Unleash Your God-Given Healing: Eight Steps to Prevent and Survive Cancer
Ginny Brant’s cancer diagnosis sent her on a quest to discover what caused a health nut to contract a deadly and aggressive form of breast cancer. What she found may surprise and inspire you. Whether you’re determined to prevent this deadly disease, survive it, or prevent its recurrence, this book pulls back the curtain on cancer and answers the question “What can I do to help my doctor beat this disease?” She challenges you to change what your doctor has no control over—your lifestyle and health habits.
Brant connects the dots between nutrition, lifestyle, integrative and conventional medicine, medical/scientific research, and biblical wisdom to show how your body was created with self-healing mechanisms that work optimally when you do your part. By implementing a few lifestyle changes, you can begin building your immune system while lowering your toxic load.
With a lighthearted analogy to the Wizard of Oz and commentary from a medical researcher and oncologist, Dr. Robert Elliott, Brant reveals the power of lifestyle changes in a way rarely seen. These same lifestye changes that prevent cancer also prevent heart disease, type 2 diabetes, dementia, aand many chronic diseases. They also reduce your risk for flus, viruses, and even Covid-19, All eight steps enhance the immune system which is our first line of defense. This is a book no one can afford not to read with this pandemic still looming, one in two people now being diagnosed with cancer, and chronic diseases continuing to increase.
Learn how to enable your body to work as God intended, thereby unleashing your God-given healing!
