Teresa Lilly — Author Spotlight

As always, happy to welcome author Teresa Lilly back as we get to know her a little better.

  • How has being published changed your life? If you aren’t published yet, how do

you think being published will change your life?

For such a time as this.  It was my dream since the first time I ever read Janette Oke to become a writer, however, I quickly realized I do not have 55000 words or more in me for any story. Thus, its difficult to get picked up by the larger publishing houses.  That is why I am so pleased to live in a time when self publishing is an option.  I ran my own publishing company for a while and I also write for the group Forget Me Not Romances.   It’s a challenge and a joy.

  • What is your current work in progress?

Can I just say this…. Can’t Help Falling in Love….. and a little bit of Elvis thrown in.

  • What is your most difficult writing obstacle, and how do you overcome it?

Finding time.  I do all my writing from 9pm to midnight. Sometimes that’s not enough time and sometimes I’m too tired to write more than a few lines.  But it’s all I’ve got.  Still, I have put out 21 novellas so far, so it’s working.

Teresa Ives Lilly lives in San Antonio, Texas and writes Christian Romance Novellas like Cocoa Courtship.

About Cocoa Courtship:

Tricia has been living in the town of Harbor Inn, Maine for less than a year, ever since she discovered her boyfriend was seeing another woman, but she has given up on dating anyone. That is, until Gathe Denve, moves back to town and says that he wants to court her. Is courting any different than dating? Can she trust this man with her heart? As Tricia and Gathe participate in all twelve Christmas Cocoa traditions and events around town, will she be able to trust Gathe and find true and lasting love?
