More Nail Polish History

I am digging more for the history of nail polish. The gals in the 17th and 18th centuries had their nails done for their portraits. Yup, a gal has to look good for her portrait.

Another gal in history to wear nail polish was Eleanor Roosevelt. She prefered the solid colors.

Nail polish has taken over the glove trend. Gloves used to be very fashionable. I remember wearing gloves as a child. I also remember painting my nails as a teen. What fun times.
